58′ Cruiser Stern Narrow Boat ‘Epicurean’

Construction
Steel plate shell in 10/6/5/5mm constructed and fitted out by Hixon Boats in 2005.
Cruiser stern with fitted taffrail and gates, blue fabric pram hood, steel aft doors and sliding hatch, side half doors, Houdini hatch,  forward escape windows, anodised aluminium framed hopper style windows, blue cabin sides with painted decals, cream roof and coach lines, brass deck fittings, built in bike locker. The interior is fully insulated with fire resistant sprayed polyurethane, and lined in ash veneered ply. Last blacked and anodes replaced in May 2024.

Accommodation
From the cruiser stern via double steel doors and a sliding hatch there are a set of removable steps with storage within, full height lockers on both sides for general stowage, electrical systems and hot water calorifier.
Galley - well fitted and equipped galley built of base units, drawers and shelving, light grey Corian style work surfaces and upstands, wine rack, stainless steel sink and drainer with mixer tap, Hotpoint washing machine, oven/grill, separate hob, and fridge.
Saloon - the saloon lies forward of the galley with electric reclining sofa, Morso Squirrel stove on a fireproof surround and guard.
A starboard side passage way leads to full width WC & Shower Compartment -  corner shower cubicle with sliding screen, a vanity unit with ceramic wash basin, a self contained composting toilet and towel radiator.
Moving Forward via starboard side alleyway, there is a nicely fitted office area with desk, shelving, drawers and Freezer.
Master Cabin - comprises a fixed king-size berth with ample storage beneath, full height fitted wardrobes at the aft ward end of the cabin, reading lights, escape windows to forepeak.
The interior is fitted with LED down lighting, Oak flooring in saloon and main cabin , tiles in the bathroom and galley, and light coloured, patterned curtains. There are ample 240v sockets throughout the vessel. Cabin Headroom is 6'7".

Engine
Vetus P4.17K602A 4 cylinder diesel engine (42hp) coupled to a shaft drive via a PRM 125 Gearbox (New in 2023 along with drive plate) with a single lever engine control. 100amp leisure alternator and 90amp Starter. Temperature, voltage and oil pressure gauges. 4510 recorded engine hours. Vetus 55kgf bow thruster.

Equipment
Eberspacher D5W8C diesel fired central heating boiler, (hot water and heating) and room thermostat, 2 radiators and 1 towel rail radiator, calorifier tank with immersion heater and accumulator tank, Morso solid fuel stove (New 2019), fire irons, 12v domestic fridge, oven/grill with 4 burner hob, washer/ dryer, Nature's Head self contained composting toilet, 2x13kg gas bottles,  TV, satellite aerial, stainless steel water tank, deck equipment, tillers, mooring ropes, anchor, galley equipment and clock.

Electrics
12v - 1 x lithium engine battery, 4 x domestic batteries, 1 x bow thruster battery, Victron 3kw inverter/charger, Victron battery monitor, 3 x solar panels, solar charge controller, 12v switch panel, LED cabin down lighting, 12v Shurflo domestic water pump, Whale Gulper shower waste pump, 12v bilge pump, 12v fridge, pump out and fresh water tank gauges, TV, Navigation Lights, and horn.
240v - shore power lead and connection, consumer unit, hot water immersion heater, plug sockets, Victron inverter/ charger, freezer, Hotpoint washer/ dryer, TV and remote.
